India Post GDS Recruitment 2023

 

Indian Postal Department has taken out bumper recruitment for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks for 10th pass in various circles of the country. This recruitment is to be done as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak.A total of 40,889 vacancies have been drawn including all the circles. Maximum 7987 vacancies are for Uttar Pradesh Circle.It is followed by Tamil Nadu circle with 3167 vacancies, Karnataka circle with 3036 vacancies and Andhra Pradesh circle with 2480 vacancies. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.The applications have started from today 27th January. Candidates can apply till 16 February 2023.

 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and 10th-pass candidates can apply for these posts. There will be no written test. Merit will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th.If a candidate has a higher qualification, it will not matter. Only 10th marks will be the basis of selection. Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster, and Dak Sevak posts will be filled under this recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak.

India Post GDS Bharti 2023 Eligibility Criteria

 

Educational Qualification To apply for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the Post office, the candidate must have  Passed in 10th class from a recognized Board of School Education.

Age Limit  – Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 40 Years. Five years of relaxation will be given to Scheduled Castes, and three years to the OBC category in the maximum age limit.

Application fee for General and OBC category – Rs 100. There is no fee for SC, ST and women of all classes.

Pay Scale (as per post) – Rs.12,000 to -29,380 for BPM. – Rs.10,000 to -24,470 for GDS/ABPM.
