Indian Army Recruitment 2023: Indian Army is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Religious Teacher Junior Commission Officer and Havildar (Super Automated Cartographer). The upper age limit is different for both posts which is given below in the article. All the details regarding the recruitment 2023 are available on the official website.

 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of online computer-based test, recruitment rallies and interviews. Candidates have to pay Rs.250 as an examination fee. According to the official notification , eligible candidates can apply online through the Join Indian Army website.

 

The online application starts on 16th February 2023.

 

Post Name for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:

 

As given in the notification of Indian Army recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the posts of Junior Commission Officer and Havildar.

 

Age Limit for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:

 

According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 official notification the age limit is given below-

 

For RT JCQ

 

Civilian– Candidates 25-34 Yrs (as on 01 Oct 2023). Candidate born between 01 Oct 1998 to 01 Oct 1989 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

 

In-Service- Same age criteria as above.

 

For Hav (SAC)

 

Civilian– The age bracket in respect of civilian candidates would not be below 20 years of age and not above 25 years of age on 01 Oct 2023 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 1998 to 01 Oct 2003 inclusive of both dates).

 

In-Service- Candidate applying for remustering will not be over 28 years (i.e candidates should not be born before 01 Oct 1995).

 

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:

 

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for Indian Army recruitment 2023.

 

1- RT Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment- Hindu Candidate with Shastri Acharya in Sanskrit from UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have under mentioned religious qualification:-

 

‘Karam Kand’ as one of the main/ core subject Shastri/ Acharya. during

 

OR One year Diploma in ‘Karam Kand”.

 

2- RT Granthi- Sikh Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have degree of “Gyani” in Punjabi.

 

3- RT Maulvi (Shla) for LADAKH SCOUTS only and RT Maulvi- Muslim Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have Alim in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/ Urdu Mahir in Urdu.

 

4- RT Padre- Christian Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and be on the approved list of the local Bishop.

 

5- RT Budhist- Budhist Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, Individual should have been ordained as Monk/Budhist Priest by an Appropriate Authority. The term ‘Appropriate Authority’ will mean Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into priesthood. The Head Priest should be in possession of Geshe (Ph.D) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rajbam with proper certificate from Monastery.

 

Education minimum educational qualification for appointment of Havildar C) is as under :-

 

BA/B.Sc with Mathematics and should have passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them) OR

 

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Civil / Electronic /Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Computer Technology / Computer Science from any recognized university and should have passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them).

 

Selection Procedure for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:

 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of online computer based test, recruitment rally and interview.

 

Phase I- Online Computer Based Written Examination (Online CEE).

 

Phase II- Recruitment Rally.

 

Phase III- Interview for RT JCO only.
